INTERNATIONAL QATAR MOIC 2022: “Football Diplomacy for Sustainable Development in the World”

Introduction

The Model Organization of Islamic Cooperation is an ICYF initiative, and it aims at creating avibrant student drivennetworkthrough MOIC clubs. Under this platform, students will go through an active learningexperiencewherestudents initially mobilize andlaterorganize a MOIC project followed by the establishment of a MOIC Club in their respective university.The organizationof the project isan ongoing processand MOIC Summits are organized by the MOICuniton a regular basis.

International Qatar MOIC Summit program is a MOIC simulation format to be implemented in Qatar.This program is open tolocal and international students who live inQatar.The International Qatar MOIC Summitspans through2-dayson 28 February-1 March 2022 in online formatbyICYF and Hamad bin Khalifa University.

ObjectivesandGoals

Main objective of the International Qatar MOIC Summit is to createa simulation based, resourcefulandinteractiveplatform for local or international students in Qatar.The Summitalso garnerspassionate students who can enhancethe capacity and knowledge of all participants about the international football diplomacy and negotiation.

The program aims to achieve the following objectives:

•Advancingpartnerships, deepen commitment to youth diversity, including establishing knowledge networks for sharing information and best practices.

•To serve as a platform for exchanging ideas on understanding of the main political,culturaland socialaffairs within the OIC member states.

•To initiate dialogue, discussions, debates, exchanges, andpotentialco-operations amongparticipants.

•To increase awarenessaroundfootball diplomacy among youth.

•To encourage new members for MOIC Student Clubs ProjectinQatar.

Requirements

•Age: 18-35

•Enrolled as a student in one of the universitiesinQatar

•Participants mustfill outthe application form belove

•The deadline for application is February10th,2022.

•Selectedapplicants will be informed via e-mail.
