Data Analytics Intern (Paid Internship)

Location: Azerbaijan, Baku

Job Description:
We seek a highly motivated Data Analytics Intern to join our team. This paid internship offers an opportunity to work on data-driven projects, developing your skills in data analysis, statistics, and automation. This is a full-time office position with working hours from 09:00 to 18:00.

Key Responsibilities:
* Write and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data in PostgreSQL databases.
* Utilize BI tools, with a preference for Tableau, to create and maintain dashboards and reports.
* Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data.
* Use Python for data manipulation, cleaning, and preparation.
* Contribute to automating data processes and reporting tasks to improve efficiency.
* Collaborate with team members to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.

Requirements:
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
* Proficiency in SQL, particularly with PostgreSQL.
* Experience with a BI tool (Tableau preferred) for data visualization and reporting.
* Foundation in statistics and ability to apply statistical methods to real-world data.
* Proficient in Python, particularly for data manipulation and automation tasks.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience or coursework related to data analytics or business intelligence.
* Familiarity with automating tasks using Python scripts.
* Knowledge of data cleaning and preprocessing techniques.
