Chemistry Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join our educational institution. As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive chemistry lessons to students at high grade levels. Your role will involve creating lesson plans, conducting experiments, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

 

Responsibilities:
-         Planning and delivering lessons with differentiated outcomes
-         Planning and assessing the curriculum delivery for each individual in the class group, including personalized learning programs for individual pupils.
-         Motivating pupils to engage in learning opportunities and support pupils to build their confidence to learn and their self-esteem.
-         Behavior management in accordance with school behavior policy, which includes supporting interventions and implementing behavior support plans for each individual in the group.
-         Monitoring attendance and following up absences with parents on the first day of absence;
-         Planning Educational Visits and ensuring appropriate Risk Assessments are completed.
-         Ensuring appropriate resources are available for the delivery of the curriculum.
-         Attend and participate in regular meetings, fulfil responsibilities as specified on school rotes and duties.
-         Contribute to the creation and development of an organization in which all staff recognize that they are accountable for the success of the school.

Requirements:

-         Bachelor degree is a must

-         PGCE, iPGCE or QTS is a plus

-         1+ years of experience as a teacher

-         Experience in working at international/English speaking schools is a plus

-         Experience in working with Cambridge/Edexcel exam boards is a plus

-         Excellent organizational skills

-         Communication and mentorship skills
