Key Responsibilities:
-Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and outages;
-Monitor and optimize network performance through regular checks;
-Implement and manage network security protocols against cyber threats;
-Configure and maintain network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, load balancers);
-Participate in selecting equipment for ongoing projects;
-Work with LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks;
-Configure and manage network protocols and topologies: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP (MPBGP, MPLS), EIGRP, ISIS, VLAN, STP, etc.
-Plan IP addressing and perform subnetting, redistribution;
-Ensure network security with Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS solutions;
-Conduct internal audits on networks and firewalls, preparing reports;
-Apply encryption methods where needed;
-Perform troubleshooting and monitoring activities;
-Work with operating systems and virtualization platforms (Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V);
-Apply L2 and L3 security rules (ACL, DHCP snooping, Port security, etc.);
-Support the optimal installation and configuration of network equipment.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree (ongoing or completed) in Computer Science, Information Security, Telecommunications, or related field;
-Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, etc.);
-Familiarity with network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls;
-Interest in cybersecurity, threat prevention, and IT infrastructure;
-Understanding of IP addressing and subnetting is a plus;
-Knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus;
-Analytical and problem-solving mindset;
-Willingness to learn and grow in the field of network security;
-Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment;
-English language proficiency (technical reading/writing).
